ELEANOR HALL: Researchers say they have finally developed an effective vaccine against malaria.
The disease kills almost 800,000 of the world's people each year, but in a 12 month trial across seven African nations, an experimental vaccine halved the risk of children getting the disease.
Experts say it's a hugely significant result and that the vaccine may soon be widely available.
